„Talve“ („Winter“) is the last chapter in the line of movies based on the Paunvere chronicles written by the acclaimed Estonian autor Oskar Luts.

It is the year 1942. After the Red Army has retreated, the German law and order has been established in Estonia. Despite the change in power, human nature proves to remain the same – we love, we celebrate, we quarrel, we make up. The story full of joyous and heartfelt twinsts and turns will start unspooling when Arnold Tali, son of Arno, returns to his ancestral home. This event proves to be seismic in a small place like Paunvere, triggering a passionate love triangle among the local youngsters. But the beloved older generation of Paunvere also proves that they still have enough spark left inside them and there is a thing or two left to be settled among them after all these decades.

Romantic comedy „Talve“ reaches the cinema screens exactly 50 years after „Kevade“ („Spring“), the first instalment of these incredibly successful movies reached the movie houses of Estonia, breaking all the audience records.

Starring Riina Hein, Margus Lepa, Henessi Schmidt, Karl Robert Saaremäe, Franz Malmsten, Saara Nüganen, Märt Koik, Harry Kõrvits, Meelis Rämmeld, Kersti Tombak ja paljud teised.
